Photovoltaic plant at the university library
The photovoltaic plant on the roof of the university library was installed in 2015. The PV-plant was financed from the university and the electricity produced is also entirely used by the university. In 2018 more than 200 000 kWh were produced, saving 82 tons of CO2 compared to the use of electricity from the German electricity mix (emission factors: Umweltbundesamt).
